BACKGROUND
Ian Chang graduated from the National University of Singapore and was called to the Singapore Bar on 29 April 1995. His practice encompasses corporate and commercial transactions, restructuring, insolvency, and dispute resolution.
Professional experience
Ian advises on mergers and acquisition, equity and debt financing, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and compliance. He has represented buyers and sellers across industries, including technology, food and beverage, construction, manufacturing and environmental services.
His corporate practice includes advising on and drafting commercial agreements, including sale and purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, distributorship agreements, and franchise agreements.
Alongside his transactional practice, Ian represents clients in corporate and commercial disputes, including arbitration and trials at all levels of the Singapore Courts.
